As cats age, you will notice changes due to aging, but not every change is "just because he's old". Some signs to make note of include:

• Changes in drinking - either more or less than usual.
• Changes in energy level.
• Changes in urinating or defecating.
• No longer jumping onto furniture or counters

Annual exams and bloodwork are crucial for discussing and detecting these changes. Preventative care is always more effective when started early!
